An original illustration featuring the Red Observer book collection — part of the much-loved pocket-sized series published by Frederick Warne & Co from 1937 to 2003, covering wildlife, hobbies, art, history, and everything in between. Intended to inspire curiosity in young readers, they ended up doing something rather more remarkable: creating a lifelong habit of looking at the world a little more carefully.
